A wonderful selection from Italy¹s Fratelli Gilardelli. Brighter in color than Bloodgood, with excellent sun tolerance. Maybe the best upright red maple for hot, humid areas. Harold Johnston reports that it grows in full sun in Alabama with no burn. The size makes it very attractive as a patio tree.
