Acers are natural companion plants for Rhododendrons, adding some wonderful texture to a mixed garden. The pictures on this page are some of the Acer cultivars that I grow in my garden. There are hundreds more, and our library has reference books with pictures - I recommend the 3rd edition Vertrees "Japanese Maples" as a very useful primer.
