A Rhododendron based garden offers colour and blooms from about March to June.  To diversify and add colour and interest during the times when the Rhododnedrons are not on display, one cultivates companion plants that fill in the gaps.  I favour perennials as they take far less work than annuals.  This album shows some of the plants I keep in my garden - click on the image to see what the plant is.
