Trompenberg

Deep red spring and summer, crimson in the fall; the colors are enough to recommend it, but the truly exciting feature of this tree is the unusual foliage shape. The leaflets are rolled down and under on the edges, forming a downward curving tube. This gives a beautiful textural effect, emphasizing the horizontal line of the branches. This is a very vigorous small lawn tree.
